Umm...it wasn't the lowest rated HBO WCB of all-time. I can gurantee that.

 

It proves that Cotto doesn't have a big name outside of hardcore boxing fans and some select Puerto Ricans.

He can't headline a WCB card by himself ... he needs help ... he needs a decent undercard fight or an opponent with a solid name who has a decent fan base.

I know alot of people who know Cotto, that are not boxing fans. Maybe his other ights did well, but people were not interested in that fight. But one thing I can admit people didn't walk out of the fight, like they did with Baldo vs Floyd. U agree, but Cotto does need to start fighting in Vegas

 

And this is what they do when they have nothing eles to say.

they claim that Cotto is a huge draw, something which Arum even knows isnt true. they claim that floyd would make a ton of money fighting Cotto, it dont matter that Arum said the fight would only be worth 7 million.

They total ignore FACTS ans what happened to push thier agendas. They claim that Floyd fans dont want to see him fight Cotto which is no true. I would love to see the fight as much as anyone, the difference is I dont blame Floyd for the fight not happening YET.

Fact is floyd was already interested in fighting Cotto, he asked Arum to make the fight. He later said that Cotto wasnt a draw with was proven true with the worst rating EVER...OH by the way includes most of Floyds fights since they have all been on HBO.:good

Yeah with all that said I now believe that Floyd is scared to fight Cotto, I mean you have to be scared to ask for the fight. I think that floyd is a coward because he happens to have the kind of job that could see him dead at the end of a work day. And they dont deserve to make the most they can get because "FANS" think that they should fight for thier approval, and can only do that by fighting the GUY that they think he should fight. Never mind that after he fights and beats that guy they will just make excuses. Before he fought Hatton it was Floyd is ducking Hatton he is a coward, After knocking Hatton out its Oh Hattons a bum, when is Floyd going to fight a welterweight. Before Oscar it was Now Floyd is finally fighting someone, Oscar is going to knock his head off, after the fight its Oscar is old and shot, and when is Floyd going to fight a welterweight.

I just wish that they could stop and look at what they are saying without the HATE glasses on, they would see how bad that some of them really sound.

Everyone thought that Floyd was making excuses when he said that Cotto had to build himself up and get a fan base ... now that the rating have exposed Cotto for being a non factor as far as numbers go ...

No matter if they want to see Floyd lose or enjoy watching him fight ... they will watch.

You can't say the same for Cotto ...

 

Do you read posts, or just the parts that you want to read. I believe I stated who I would Like to see Floyd fight. the only difference between you and I on the subject is I 1)respect ALL fighters 2)dont blame fighters for making the best BUSINESS move for them.

Its no different then you or I. If you were offered 20 bucks to wash windows on the north side of the street, and 10 to wash the windows on the southside which would you pick?? All your buddies say you sould work on the southside cuz the women are hot and your pimp points would go up two fold...But if you work on the northside your bank points will go two fold. Its a no brainer. After all its not like you picking up **** on the northside.

its the same with Floyd. Its not like Floyd is fighting bums..In fact I would gander that about half the people here would pick Oscar to beat cotto and maybe 75% would pick him to beat Margo.

cotto makes more money fighting de la hoya than say margo, but do i want him to fight hoya? no i dont, because i am a boxing fan and you are a boxer fan.
