It was a fight that Arum wasnt interested in then and he isnt NOW or eles he would have 1)taken Floyd up on the offer and made the fight when both guys were still at top rank 2) Offered Floyd a fight with Cotto since then. Niether one happened

why?

 

He already is very popular, but I think he hasn't reached his true potential yet.

He could built his fanbase much more for various reasons:

1. To be more popular. It always helps.
2. To win more money.
3. To make more pressure for a Mayweather-Cotto fight.


How he can build it?

Fighting Margarito, maybe fighting Mayoga, knocking out more opponents, fighting in MSG or Las Vegas, etc.
