    It was a hardcore fan card going up against another hardcore fan card.

    It was a main event most people assumed would be horribly one-sided.

    These numbers do not surprise me that much.

    To say they are grounds for Floyd not to fight Cotto is ludicrous.

    Is that wave supposed to mean something? Dude asked how much people would watch a HBO card by HIMSELF. Since this thread is about Cotto's HBO CABLE rating, PPV #'s are something entirely different. Good try though guy. :good

    Just like Floyd said, dude ain't lying. Numbers DON'T lie. He ain't affraid of Cotto, the fight ain't going down simply for this reason on this thread. On top of that Cotto didn't just do bad numbers with this event, it was the lowest rated. Shows how many people other than his fans are watching him. Looks like nobody is:lol:

    everyone knew cotto-gomez was gonna be a one sided beating,regardless of numbers floyd needs to fight cotto within 12 months if cotto gets past margarito.

    floyds only highly rated fights were against de la hoya&hatton who are two of the most popular fighters in the world,so that should be taken into account when people say floyd is a huge draw.

    What does it matter, Cotto still the best Welter. You Floyd fan boys need to come up with better excuses than Cotto-Gomez being a low rated program. Fact is that if Cotto and Floyd do fight itll be huge.
