    Who wins?

Guzman is looking for a big fight and PR vs DR would be huge in NYC.

I dont think Joan Guzman has the balls to take this fight.

He is supposed to be smaller than Cotto but they are the same height and relative size, I would love to see this fight.

    Any body else interested??

Guzman would come in at 160lbs at the weigh in.

Was getting ready to say Guzman was too small, but Boxrec has them both at 5'7" w/67" reach.

    Is that accurate?

I mean they can be unrealiable, but that's what it says and to be honest it sounds right.

I'll bet it's close enough for purposes of this discussion at least.

Guzman looks like he has some speed left, but Cotto's timing is still pretty good and he is not slow himself. Also, who has Guzman fought that has Cotto's power or skill for that matter?

Might be fun while it lasted, but Cotto stops him in 8 or 9.

I think Guzman should campaign at 140 and 147 maybe. There are some guys there that he might take advantage of.

Unless Guzman shows he can make a real splash at 147 despite being 36,it's non-starter because Cotto ain't taking a fight below 154 unless it's for a career high purse and despite the fact hardcore boxing fans know and like Guzman,he's never going to be at the top of HBO's wish list.
Nice thought, but Guzman hasn't had a meaningful fight in years, far less at the required weight.

    Cotto blows him out.

Guzman is not what he was. He's not close.

That fight would have to be done at 147 which Cotto can't make anymore so... B'sides Guzman is tremendously skilled so what's the point of... You know?

I doubt Guzman can be effective at 154, Cotto can not do 147 anymore. Anyways as far as the match up goes, Guzman might make it look interesting for the first couple of rounds using his speed and movements but once Cotto gets him timed and land a couple to Joan's body that's it! Joan will get busted like a Dominican getting popped by customs trying to sneak into Puerto Rico. ( was going to say like a Mexican sneaking across the US border but that was more fitting. )

Who do you think will pose the tougher fight and who do you see as the weakest link?

In my honest opinion I think K9's style is the easier to handle for Cotto, Sure K9 is strong but lacks a chin and skill. He's straight forward with no latteral movements.

As far as the tougher or most difficult man i don't know Molina is smart with a very awkward style and Rosado has been improving and is hungry for a big fight!!!
