I can't help but wondering...who does everyone think would win if Miguel and Ricky somehow managed to set up a fight next year? It might not be that far fetched if you think about it...

Yea, I'm leaning towards Cotto also, but it would be a great fight regardless! Their styles would make for an all action fight...and you know what makes fights...

Cotto is one guy you dont want to get too close to and come forward against. He gets off short power punches and if him and hatton trade left hooks to the body. I guarantee Hatton will lose his lunch and a kidney. Cotto DESTROYS Hatton in the ring. Hatton will get off early but Cotto will wear him down and destroy him in about 7-8.

Hatton doesnt like it to the body, he can dish it out but cant take it.

I think he can still drag it into a messy, tactical fight but he wont have the same impact fighting at 147 against a monster like Cotto. I think Cotto stops him in the midrounds.

If this fight happened a few years ago, at 140 and baseing it on 140 form, I reckon Hatton would wrestle the fight away from Cotto.

we might have a better idea when cotto fights someone good, his best opponent is judah who came into the fight having lost his previous two fights. hatton had 1 close fight with collazo and everyone now thinks he's rubbish, cotto's been wobbled more than hatton. cotto hasn't fought anyone as good as hatton yet, we'll have a better idea after he fights mosely.

    at 140 i would go with hatton at 147 it's 50:50
