Why the Mets owned the Phillies through the regular season :yep but I hear you...Philly's world series title was a sweet victory for you and I can't hate on that. I think my amazins may pull a deal with KRod so we'll see how that turns out. Andy Reid has been the same hot head for years dude....but the game wasnt as close as the score made it. Hey at least in my opinion your the second best team in the NFC East. ;)

That's good for Margo, and I actually commended him for fighting Williams. However, that's no reason to dog out Williams for not dropping his belt to try to be someone's mando. That's an ill advised move that his promoter probably wouldn't even let him make. Paul worked his way up once to be Margo's mando and beat him. His team offered Margo $4 mill. for rematch. Now if team Margo has other plans that's fine, but you can't expect Williams to wait around forever. He needs to make a living too.

    Haha,

    Nice.

I love all the trash talk and insults floating around in this thread.

    It's pure gold.

If Cotto takes this fight, he's going to get it again from Margarito.

Let the insults and random jargon continue. I love ESB!

    :bbb

Get ranked?, get ranked what?, he was a champion in that division what rank does he need to get a guy HE ALREADY ****ING beat in a rematch?

They already offered him a career high payday and admittedly more money than he will make fighting Mosley and Cotto. Don't give me this "he needs a rank" bull****, he was a champion and he won that title beating A CHAMPION, unlike Margarito who grabbed that vacant title and defended it claiming his belt is better than a unified WBC/WBA/IBF champion.

Anyone defending this man's CLEAR ducking for better money offers and less risky fights is crazy.

I think AM and Williams might rematch at 154 laqter on down the line if AM wants the fight. PW still has to get by Phillips. If I were Cotto, I'd go for the title.

Berto set to fight his mandatory
    Mosley set to fight Margarito
Cotto set to fight <insert name please> then Margarito
Clottey already fought recently and only called out Williams when he was officially booked to fight Phillips
    Collazo set to fight Berto

Please mention anyone else if you can. Also, answer me this question, are Mosley and Cotto more deserving than Williams who BEAT Margarito?, yes or no ONLY, leave your delusional excuses for yourself. :good

What I quoted above and underlined is about the stupidest post I've read since I've been on this site. You totally do not have a clue to how boxing operates lol...you and Aztec have this truly phony fanaticl. weaselistic was of rationalizing why AM should not rematch Williams. It is down right silly, and you clowns only get a kick out of how people respond to you lol...

On being called scared, a bum, or coward by fans : MARCUS RHODE: It doesn’t bother me because the simple fact is half these guys have never put the leather on, they have never been hit, never been nothing. It doesn’t bother me because all they can do is run their mouth because if they could get in the ring they would have gotten in there...

Sorry, but how is Margarito's position right now better than Mayweather's?, last I remember Mayweather was officially the #1 and lineal champion for beating the undisputed champion who decided to not pay the fees for two belts. How is Margarito beating Cotto, a fighter a few randomly considered the #1 Welterweight without beating all the champions or unifying better than Mayweather's position?, that's just being a straight in the face hater or dumb.

Also, HBO exposed jack**** and let me use Margarito as an example for you here. Floyd turned down an unknown in Margarito's $8million for the exact same amount fighting the lineal champion in Baldomir, then he turned down the $8million yet again for nearly $15 million fighting Oscar De La Hoya. Now let's take a look at Margarito, who ironically is in the same yet FAR worse position after all the trash talk, he was offered $4million a career high payday for him to fight a man that already beat him in a rematch to fight Mosley and Cotto in fights that will make him nothing close to that offer. Which one looks FAR more like ducking?

Oh the irony is killing me here.

It was perfectly OKAY for Margarito to sit on a WBOgus, which was a paper title he won fighting a vacant title didn't really beat a champion, and claim that the entire division is ducking him but when Paul Williams does it with FAR better proof he's a lunatic?. :rofl Don't forget that during Margarito's days there WAS an active unified Welterweight champion, there's none right now.

Williams is staying active, he knows Margarito want no part of him so he's doing his thing. Got any better names he could fight at Welterweight with almost everyone worth mentioning booked?, if so please mention them. Don't forget that Margarito's name can't be mentioned as he's cherry picking right now and CLEARLY.

He's not going that route as Margarito didn't for YEARS at Welterweight, as a matter of fact what route as you talking about?, Margarito had ZERO wins worth mentioning the days he was considered the most feared man on the planet. Williams has a win over Margarito and HE'S THE ONE running after Margarito with career high paydays as offers to a rematch when it's SUPPOSED to be the other way around, I wonder why you're completely ignoring this? :huh

Tony has fought all the good Welterweights, sure, but did he beat all of them?, the answer is no, does he plan to avenge that loss?, the answer is no. Sorry, that doesn't sound nor look like the "best" Welterweight out there when a man has half dozen losses with zero rematch attempts.

Watch him call Pacquiao out soon and claim he's scared of him too. Guess what?, his fans(yourself included) will LOVE it.

What MW?, last I remember Paul Williams vs Antonio Margarito was at Welterweight. If that's the case then Margarito fought at SMW before, so it was a SMW and a MW fighting at Welterweight. The result?, Margarito got his ass handed to him and is running away from a rematch CLEARLY and his fans hate to admit it. :good
