Cotto vs Kirkland: Could Be A War!!

Should be a short exciting fight that allows Cotto to get a highlight reel KO and stay relevant.

 

Kirkland has no more than punchers chance, and i don't remember anybody taking Cotto out.

I'll take Cotto by TKO around the middle rounds, after Kirkland gets off the canvass several times.

 

This will definitely be a war with Cotto coming out victorious by KO. I wouldn't be surprised if this ends in the first 3 rounds.

 

Waste of time fight to be honest. Kirkland needs to find a line of new work before he gets seriously injured.

 

They're both coming off losses, so it's normal to take a fight like this.

 

Well, I give Cotto credit for getting out of middleweight and going back to 154 where he belongs, but Kirkland has no chin, none. Against Canelo, he fell down like he'd just been hit with a sledgehammer and it's not like Pollo Rojo is some monster puncher.....

 

I like this fight and as long as its not ppv or HBO doesn't have to break their budget making it I'd like to see it happen.

Kirkland puts a lot of pressure on his opponents right from the start and those early rounds could be dangerous for Cotto. If Kirkland were to pull the upset that would be when it happens.

After the first 3-4 rounds Cotto would probably start to take control and eventually stop Kirkland by the mid to late mid rounds.

Good action fight and I think Cotto ends up stopping Kirkland after a few scary moments for him.

 

I hear you but Kirkland is done and Cotto didn't get blown away by Canelo it was a close fight.

 

OR it could be more probable that Anne knows who James should and should not fight. She gets James in shape and knows that he can't balloon up to 200+,between fights which means he enters fat camp instead of a fight camp.

James is not some unstoppable beast with anne, she knows who not to fight

For james right now, cotto is the only name opponent he should accept to fight. Good payday and a decent shot at winning. Roach is not good for an aging fighter, defense has never entered into his very limited vocabulary

 

I want to know how James keeps getting this high profile fights despite losing? Canelo now Cotto?
