According to Lara promoter Luis de Cubas a fight with Cotto is on the table and they are wating for Haymon to do a OK to firm the fight. Here the link sorry is in Spanish translate the page. By the way all the recently mentioned fighters Rios, Bradley are in the plans too.

Vey dangerous fight for Cotto even more dangerous than a Canelo one. Don't know if they sign the match, to praise Cotto or criticize Him for taking a dumb move of a very high risk low reward fight. Even too hardcore fans this is a heck of a fight, for casuals that are always the main focus Lara is unknown an even a fight with Bradley and Rios could get Him better PPV numbers, kudos for taking a great fight for fans but re**** for taking this risk with other fighter with lower risk available.

Lara is the number #1 154 pounder in the world .

Miguel has no chance in hell of beating Lara , Yes Even with Roach...

Best possible outcome for Cotto is a close 12 round decision. Worst possible is a 12 round defeat in which he's shamefully schooled.

Very hard fight for Cotto but Cotto can cut the ring very very well and Lara had problems with that kind of opponents, Angulo and Molina who I think won that fight. So don't be surprised if Cotto manage to win it.

It'd be a great fight but I doubt Cotto will take it. He should have fought Saul Alvarez, make a good buck and be done with it.

Haymon has to give his ok for the fight. Advisor my @ss.
But if this fight really comes off I expect Lara to win it clearly

I will admit, a Lara fight is much more respectable than a Bradley fight.

its wierd he will take on a guy like lara who he will very likely lose to but wont take a sure loss vs GGG and atleast earn the respect of the fans

I like this matchup, it's meaningful. Miguel of course hasn't a chance of winning a decision however.

lmfao @ ****ing GGG... yeah ****ing right bro... GGG probably comes into the ring at like 180 or 190.....

How about GGG impresses the fans and goes to fight Froch?

Lara is super impressive. I'd be shocked as **** if cotto took this fight.

ggg comes in to the ring about 170 or even less at times what gave you that impression he comes in at 180-190?

ggg is not a big mw he just hits very very hard
