Style wise this fight is just as hard as Canelo, if not harder. Can't be that much money it. Would this be 54 or for cottos 160 title.

anything but a multi million dollar fight with Alvarez looks idiotic tbh. Lara is a top fighter though.

Lara gets so much respect on this board LOL. he got his ass boxed up by Vanes! worked by Molina, ran from canelo, and rocked by angulo. HE MADE AUSTIN FRIGGIN TROUT LEAD ALL NIGHT! I just do not get it.

He defense is purely his legs - he makes you miss only be moving, never slipping, rolling, and rarely countering a miss. He also only throws a 1-2. No hook, uppercut or body shots.

Also …he's damn slow. Not visibly much quicker than canelo, ishe, or Molina - these dudes are slow and plodding as hell.

Any have 0.0% desire to see him run from cotto all night long and then ***** and moan about the decision which he will inevitably lose 100%.

Just fight K9 on Showtime and continue being the ESB message board legend.

LOL go back to bed walkwithme!!

GGG was 174lbs in the ring with Rubio. Was 172lbs for Geale.

Lara was 170lbs against Ishe Smith.

GGG would decapitate this fool. Good look running! Gennady cuts off the ring better than anyone in boxing. I would spend PPV $$$ to watch that beating.

What sort of a source is that:patsch

A community paper in some Latin American village? What the hell do they know?

Cotto isn't fighting any Lara. Ever.

Me too. Lara doesn't bring much to the table money wise. I think he is overrated though. He has the tools to make many boxers look average, but lacks offensive tools himself to win convincingly against the top dogs of his division.

No way Cotto is going to fight Lara. He'll fight Bradley well before that happens.

 No way Cotto fights Lara If a younger Cotto couldn't do well against Trout who is a poor version of Lara No way in hell he wins more than 3 rounds against him at this stage.

That'd be more rounds than Canelo won against Lara :yep

Btw, Trout and Lara fight nothing alike

I dont rate Lara that high but yes based on styles Cotto has a very low chance of winning. If hes gonna make that fight he might as well just fight GGG and take the fight the fans want to see.

I'd rather see him fight Bradley than chase Larun for 36 mins
