Cotto vs Marg should be a ND

people like you make me ashamed to be a cotto fan :-(

it's boxing, fighters faces get messed up all the ****en time...is that the first fight you've watched....go watch mma if you dont like it, over there you can get champions knocked out with a jab, and come out with no scratches on their face....

 

i dont know if this newb knows it or not, but nevada provides their own tape and gauze.......

 

if that is his logic and the way he sees it, then we can say Cotto used loaded gloves for his fights with Branco, Paulie Mallinagi, and Zab Judah

 

The Nevada State Athletic Commission cleared Margo of any wrong doing in that fight. Therefore, the decison remains an "L" on Cotto's record. All the bitching and whining in the world won't change it.

Well I have to disagree with something you said here......LOGIC.....There is none, its pure sackswinging. Judah looked much worst then Cotto did, and Maggs OMG That kid looked like he was in a car wreck.:yep

I will tell you who hurt Cotto. Actually was 2 people. Mosley and Gomez. Let me explain you:

Cotto beat an elite boxer at his own game. Then he annihilated Gomez. That made him feel unbeatable. I honestly hated the way he was showing off in his fight against Gomez. He even try to do the same thing with Margo. (hitting and raising his hand after hitting). He totally forgot about attacking Margarito's body. He tried to show off and he ran out of gas. Then he got caught! I hope he learned his lesson, or he is going to have a long night with Clottey.

 

Exactly there is no logic please try to keep up when I am being sarcastic, but I thought Judah looked pretty busted up more than I have ever seen him before, but Paulie:-( Poor kid looks like he was hit with a wrecking ball.

I'm a big Cotto fan but there's no way this should be changed without proof.
I actually think Margarito did have plaster wraps in this fight, but without evidence there's **** all that can be done about it.
Also Cotto hit Margarito pretty flush in the fight, gave him his best and Margarito walked right through it and that didn't come from his wraps, so failing an admission from Margarito it will always be a loss on Cottos record unfortunately.

 

I think where he ****ed up with Margarito is that he used his legs too much, he didnt sit inside the pocket, had he done that he wouldnt have used up as much energy, Margarito is wide, you can see those shots comming, if Cotto stayed inside the way Shane did, he would have been better off, keeping the fight at the center of the ring and simply turning Margarito.

 

Bazooka_x3,exactly he started running soon as the bell rung,until he got the breaks beat off him,with a guy like margarito u gotta stand your ground at times,even a skilled fighter like paul williams had to buckle down and go toe to toe with margarito.
