That Pacquiao/Donaire-esque move was pulled off beautifully because of Cotto's ability to fight out of both stances. Jump into a right-handed straight punch punch while stepping forward, landing in the opposite stance, and bounce off shooting the left hand straight immediately after. He did this before to some extent, without the fluid bounce, but lost confidence in his ability to switch. I'm glad to see him show no fear throughout this clinic.

He used to switch more often before in his pre-margarito days with much more confidence and success as well especially against Judah, Quintana and Mosley. The first two probably because they were southpaws himself but against Mosley Cotto was landing flush lead straight lefts.

I would like to see more of it again.

Clearly, Margarito was allowing Cotto to hit him relentlessly in order to tire the Puerto Rican and then take over the fight in the last three rounds. So brave of him to sacrifice an eye to pull off this brilliant strategy until, of course, the evil doctors executed their pre-fight plan of stopping Margarito at the end of the ninth round, just before he rained hell on Cotto. They even checked him out at the end of the eighth so they could sell the theft. *******s.

Incredible, fighting with one eye, slow, and nothing but arm punches yet at the end Margarito was about to stop one of the most skilled fighters in the sport, much props to Margarito. We need more fighters who have a heart like him on the sport. No more Dirrells or Judahs.

It's been a long time since I have seen a one-sided fight that was so much fun to watch.
