    A gift?

Its real simple PBf has avoided guys his entire career. Never beating all the top contenders and using MARKETING as an excuse.

The jig is NOW UP!!! Floyds made his money and Cotto has been LIVING and FIGHTING like a Champion. There is no way in hell to BUILD UP anymore after Cotto vs Margarito.

The build-up is idea is also BS because Cotto did more PPV than Floyd just 2 fights ago. Those 2 fights are DLH and Hatton. The PPV KING and the LOYAL FOLLOWERS. Floyd's own idea of being responsible for those numbers is RIDICULOUS. Yet Floyd did win the fights and is still technically the Champ. Most tuning in werent rooting for Floyd.

The same will happen in PBF vs Cotto:good Any attempt by PBF to duck/delay fighting Cotto if he beats Margarito? Will ONLY SOLIDFY the pattern that has been consistent THROUGHOUT Floyds career. Essentially PROVING that Floyd never really walked like the ATG's he CLAIMS to be better than.

Mayweather thinks he's slick. He's gonna hope that the winner of this fght will take a pounding so that he can challenge them after they left it all in the ring.

cotto has in his last few fights for sure but floyd did do the business at lower weights before the "money" kicked in.

people like to overlook that because they haven't seen how legitimate those fights were and also because a lot of people are "PPV spectators", so all they see is what does does post-gatti.

by the way, floyd's fanbase has definitely grown with the hatton and oscar fights, but so have the haters.

and you better believe both will pay if cotto or margarito fight him in 2009. i'll bet it happens.

My two cents in this forum part of the delay signing (Cotto) was the rules in Nevada any fighter above 135lbs must use 10oz gloves and Cotto wants 8oz finally Las vegas will allow both fighters to use 8oz a puncher glove. Nevada had to modify the rules in order to land the fight be ready for lot's of action I'm sure this fight won't reach the 12 round.

Cotto by late stoppage or decision. Margarito may have an iron chin but he'll need an iron rib cage against Cotto.

I have picked against Cotto too many times. Cotto has excellent boxing ability. He throws some of the best, sharpest combos in boxing right now. I only see two possible outcomes.

Cotto by UD--the most likely outcome

Margo by TKO--low possibility as we know Cotto has been chin checked

Margos defense is way too sloppy and Cotto will test him good. Cotto will easily outscore him on clean shots. Cotto was able to box moseley, I see no problems with Cotto handling the pressure of Margo.

Something like 8-4 9-3 on the card.

Cotto beat MOSLEY, JUDAH and QUINTANA. Those are not c- fighters...
Margarito beat some good fighters too, but cotto is underestimated. My only worry is that Cotto has not fought a 5'11 fighter since he got in the 147lbs, while Margarito as fought tons of ''cotto sized'' opponents.

But i would still favor Cotto.

He could have fought Casamayor at 130 and ducked Spadafora at 35. It might have been business? But it wasnt cleaning divisions.

Anyone using logic, reasoning, and history is a HATER. Anyone not licking floyd's sack is a hater. Floyd really hasnt gained FANS. In fact he's lost many. What he HAS? Is the Championship status.

If Cotto beats Margarito? There aint no more 2 it:nono Floyd gotta fight Miguel, no excuse, no BS will hold water.

I also HOPE IT HAPPENS.

How does it feel to be a drunk druggie like your hero Spaf?

    Ducked Spadafora?

    18-0 against top 10 opponents

    Genero Hernandez
    Diego Corrales
    Carlos Hernandez
    Jose Luis Castillo
    Jesus Chavez
    Zab Judah
    Oscar de La Hoya
    Ricky Hatton

And your dumbass is talking about a attempted killer who barely eeked out wins against guys Floyd dominated. What a buffoon. :rofl
