Your absolutely right, it should have.

But it could not because the money was not there to be invested in advertising. The good news is, now that these fighters have had such a great buy #, there will be more money for advertising the next time either of them fights.

If only they will advertise a rematch more and give it more attention then I have no doubts it can make 600k if not more.

No haters, people were just telling the truth,450 000 buys for a fight that was billed as the second coming of christ.Besides the arena only had 10000 people instead of 16667 capacity, thats like 66% occupancy.Since Arum's strategy was maximising revenue (Bums on seats) that fight failed.

Explains why Floyd wasnt interested in Margaritto and why he said Cotto was still green

There is no incentive for Floyd to fight these fighters. When Floyd fights seats go for $3000 a piece and they are sold out within 37 minutes. These guys seats were going for $75 a piece and only sold 10000 instead of 16667,thats really poor, just above the 50% mark.In terms of revenue, this falls way below what Floyd would fight for.

Just shows Floyd is in a different class. The guy worked hard to get to where he is and I hope people now realise the difference between Floyd and the rest. Not many people would have done dancing withthe stars while training for a fight against a pound for pound fighter.Floyd knew what he was doing.

oh boy:patsch please name the last fight (not including ODLH or Hatton) that sold over 450,000 buys...now name a fight that Floyd was in that sold over 450,000 buys...not including Oscar or hatton.

Oscar and hatton sold those seats...not Floyd. Floyd couldn't fill seats in his own hometown...he gave away seats and still half of the hall was empty.

Why the exception?A fighter is as good as his last fight. Those 2 fights are when Floyd the brand reached the maturity stage after years of investment so why the exception?

If you plot Floyd's earnings on a graph you can see the exponential growth, now on that stage why should he come down?

How many of Oscars fights have ever grossed such money before? What was Oscar's last PPV and how much were seats beings sold for?

The last hatton's fight was on PPV in England, how many buys did he do compared to the 800000 buys he did against Floyd.

Hatton and Oscar's highest paying fights are against one common denominator, thats Floyd Mayweather.

The only guy who could turn away from at least $35 million from a fight,I bet you both Cotto and Margaritto combined havenet made that kind of money in their careers

they sold over 450,000 buys without the proper promotion...and without riding Oscar or Hatton coat tails.

Still you're not making a point and if you're saying either one is bigger in terms of drawing power then you're one delusional hater, especially when you don't want to add Mayweather's name being a MAJOR factor in those numbers against Hatton and DLH being good.

350K against Gatti isn't horrible considering it's damn close to what BOTH Cotto and Margarito made. 350K against Baldomir on a card sold all based on his name and only his name isn't bad either, especially when the card was HORRIBLE and it was competing with a free SHOWTIME heavyweight card that included names like Juan Diaz/Shannon Briggs and Segei Lyakovich. Then comes the Judah fight which also made 350K, let's face it, who else out there apart from DLH could make such numbers fighting anyone?

Your attempt at saying Floyd can't draw is pure bull****.
