I know but those fights sucked and imagine if this was a big mega fight like that one. More boxing fans and less MMA fans. :smoke

**** they didn't. What was all that crybaby **** about the sport not loving him and he didn't wanna fight anymore? He was told afterwards that people were leaving long before the final bell. And it drilled home hard.

Regardless of the numbers, Margarito-Cotto will go down as a classic. Mayweather-Baldomir, like Mayweather-DLH, won't. :deal

No worries about that...I just know not to trust Bobs numbers..He tried to lie abot the number for Cotto vs Judah also...That fight did worst than the 280 Cotto vsMosley did...I'll wait for HBO and Makr taffet to prived the numbers...No way do i go with what Arum realsed...

I'm not really bothered with MMA and their fans to be honest, the sport of boxing is a part of history and has been here for TOO long. Boxing is a true sport in my opinion and not a human chicken fight.

As far as those fights being boring, I honestly enjoyed them, though the general won't like the DLH and Baldomir fights but the Hatton fight was a good one.

Yes they did and keep your opinion out of facts please because sorry but they're not even close to the facts.

DLH/Mayweather broke all records and is currently #1, Mayweather/Hatton did 850k and Cotto vs Margarito 425k. Accept it or continue living in denial.

The Hatton fight was ok. Casual fans expect a blood and guts type fight thats why I think MMA is becoming more popular. Margarito vs. Cotto is what boxing is all about imo.

It's what the majority of fans prefer and appreciate more, definitely not what boxing is all about.

PPV buys? Who the hell is talking about PPV buys? I'm talking the fights people will remember.

10 years from now Mayweather-DLH won't mean **** to the public or to any historian. Margarito-Cotto will.

My post was about PPV buys which you replied to with complete denial, again keep your personal bull**** opinion out of this.

Boxing won't remember Mayweather vs DLH but they will remember Margarito vs Cotto because in that fight you have someone you nuthug beyond belief and the other you have someone you hate?, bull**** opinion out of your discussions please, use your ****ing head.

That's it right there, just a matter of taste and the majority appreciate all-out slugging more than pure boxing skills.
