Cotto is damaged goods, Margarito by tko rnd 7.

 

They're both not the same fighters from the first fight but Cotto has more in the tank despite Margarito being a bad style matchup for him. I think people forget that Margarito also hasn't been the same for worse since defeating Cotto. I'm split between a Cotto by decision or Marg by late round tko again. If I had to pick I'd pick Cotto by UD and as a fan I hope that happens too.

 

I thought Cotto could have beaten Margo in the first fight had he boxed more and clinched on the inside. Maybe Steward can make Cotto box smarter.

 

Cotto will retire after this im a big fan but he will lose this fight bad style for him....

 

im going for cotto but im still very unsure if has returned to hes prime

he will most likely fight the same fight he did against mayorga perhaps fighting on the inside a little more because mayorgas wild shots are alot more dangerous then margs in my opinion

 

that basically confirms the plaster handwraps were used in the cotto fight.

its pretty obvious marg knows how long he has been using them i just wish he would set the record straight and say so

 

I thought you're asking who will win. I think Margo will win but I like Cotto to win.

 

Im going with cotto, I expect him to be smarter with steward this time, cotto has to win, no matter what cost.

 

I don't doubt he used them. If he attempted to use them against an old Mosley, why wouldn't he try the same thing on a younger,prime Cotto? His resistance & pressure were still other reasons why he was so dangerous and though his punch resistance has declined, Marg holds a mental advantage and will keep stalking Cotto like he did last time. His chin will not hold up to Cotto like it did last time and Margarito will get hurt eventually which may even give Cotto a boost in confidence and motivate him to maintain his focus.

 

Cotto stayed on the ropes too much, fair enough Margo pushed him there but IMO he stayed a little bit longer than he could have because he was also getting his own way. Margo just won the battle of attrition. If Cotto boxes of the backfoot the entire fight, he should win this fight fairly comfortable. 8-4.

 

Revenge for Cotto and a great way to retire after this win!:thumbsup
