the steward factor will take this one. Cotto smacked Margarito for 9 rounds then ran out of gas because he didnt know how to spoil so tony can on strong. Steward will have him holding and firing the jab and stepping off and probably work the body a bit. Cotto by close points

Depending on how bad that beating Marg took from PAC has affected him...I'm saying Marg beats Cotto again. I could be wrong and Cotto could win, but I don't think Steward is gonna have that much of an effect on Cotto's style once the blood begins to boil and Marg is raining down pressure from Pillar to Post.

I do think that cotto does better and takes less punishment this fight but loses in the late rounds.

i'd go for cotto in this one simply because he has Steward in his corner; i think they'd come with a hit and move strategy (not unlike the first fight) but maintain it til the final bell. cotto got overwhelmed in the first match and allowed margarito to cut the ring off effectively. i think steward will have a gameplan to counter margarito walking him down and cotto outboxes him to the end and gets the nod.

If the fight is clean, cotto will demolish margarito.. Then maybe a possible rematch against pacquioa.. or a challenge against martinez.. No other opponents for cotto i believe..

Margarito wins again without the bricks. Cotto will tire and start running away by round 5 like always .

Logic and rationality says that Cotto is fresher, younger, a better boxer, has the experience of facing Margarito's style before, and now has Manny Steward to help him devise the perfect gameplan.

But for some reason, I have a nagging doubt in my mind that Margarito beats him again. It's just a stylistic thing.

I like and rate Cotto more, and if (as is very possible) the defeats by Mosley and Pacquiao have left Margarito a severely diminished force then Cotto should beat him.

But if Margarito is as resilient as I suspect he is and bounces back well, I fear heartache for Cotto yet again.

IMO, the punches that Margo landed via bodyshot and uppercut to Pacquiao would have put Cotto in serious trouble.
