Everybody is def going with their heart, because i know damn well there's more people thinking marg will take it.

Margarito's fans wont bet their avi's. Guess they're not that confident either.

:deal Margo was a man and a half in the PAC fight!

He just ran into the PAC MONSTER! Margarito applied pressure all night long and he actually hurt pac a little in the 6th round.. Tony took a beating but he also marked Manny's face up as well.. Margarito didnt run like Cotto and Mosley.. He didnt quit like DLH, He didnt cover up all night like Clottey! :nono The Manster fought hard all ****ing night.. He's a true warrior!!

 

As much as it pains me to say it, Margarito wins - probably on points with Cotto fading down the stretch.

 

I would like to do an avy bet because Margo is going to tap that! I can't do it though, Im already sporting an avatar from an avy bet.. Until Jan. 2012

Can't pick at this point because the "reconstruction" of face/eye is too much of an unknown.
The NYSAC in their final ruling hinted that their first docs said the injuries should bar Marg from fighting. Then all the pressure...and final ruling.

So IF the face and eyes hold up, I'd favor Margs. But if not, then Cotto.

It's a pickem to me. WHile I think when the going gets rough, Cotto either tends to get scared and get on the bike or gets dirty, we have to consider in the 1st fight that the plaster broke Cotto's nose early and he had trouble breathing almost throughout. I think if not for that, he would have been able to last the 12 in the first fight, while bikng it out the last few rds a la vs Mosley--and was ahead enough to have gotten the decision.

So if he fights the way he did the first time, he would win. But lately he does not seem to want to fight that way anymore, and biking it throughout might actually be better for Margs.

If the hands had plaster the first time (I believe so), and now without, there should be no broken nose this time. And Margs will get hit plenty as before, if now the new face/eye leads to more pain, bleeding or worse, should be the deciding factor. And a Cotto win.

But I would not wager on this one as there are too many unknowns for me here.

 

Antonio Margarito i think if he closes in on Cotto he could break him down like the first fight...if he wasnt cheating
