Who cares who idea it was as long as we were able to see the fight get made? Two grown men looking to fight, who are seperated by weight came to a mutual agreement on meeting at a catch weight.

Most who fight at catch weights DON'T BELONG in higher weight classes but their ability allows them to be competitive and the really special ones are able to dominate depending on their opponent.

Nard is a natural Middle weight......he has just recently grown into a LtHW frame as he's gotten older and progressively moved up in weight.

margarito is crying saying he cant make 150.. everybody keeps blaming cotto or saying he's scared or looking for an advantage but i think is margarito who is scared he fought at 150 his last fight and his whole career except a couple of fights has been at welter... just fight and stop crying like a girl just be happy you're getting a pay check instead of being in jail for what you try to pull

cotto holds all the cards margarito is a nobody and doesnt have many options if he doesnt take the cotto fight he'll be out of a lot of money and will have to settle for a small time fight

I just dont want to see the excuse that Margarito was dehydrated by one pound if Cotto wasnt at 145 for his Manny fight. Amazing how Manny isnt criticize for fighting Margarito at 150 when Manny is even bigger than Cotto in some areas:patsch Cotto has always said 154 was just a challenge at the moment and will return to 147 if necessary. But oh well lets not use this one pound as an excuse fellows. I wonder if the Manny/Cotto rematch ever happend again will Cotto be force to fight at 150 or even 147 and everyone will be silent:lol:

I meant when he walked to the ring weighing 154 for his last 2 fights, wanna talk about being clueless when you are digging from a fight at 140 thats irrelevant to the subject.

I bet you were one of the many many people who said Foreman would outbox him.

people are bitching too much. aside from margarito needing to **** before the weigh-in, i don't see no problem making this rematch anywhere from 147 to 154.

margarito's last fight was at 150 and the majority of his fight prior to that have been at welter so i dont know why his fans are crying like little girls is just one ****ing pound
