Cotto must think the 1lb means something. Since it was only 1lb that ruined him vs Pac.

    Lol.

    lol one pound?

Must be for just mind games. Knowing they have to go down one more pound, is just that extra bit of work for Margarito.

It was probably 1 lb of cement that ruined him vs Margo.

God I hope Cotto wins. My instinct tells me it's gonna be Margo still tho.

Margarito has been inactive, he may struggle to make even 154 lbs.

......but I'm on record in this forum as saying, Margarito will propinate Cotto a fierce beatdown.

I dont think this fight will make it to the late rounds.
I honestly believe that Cotto will realize very early on that he's not feeling Margarito's punches any different that he did when they fought at welter.
As a result, Cotto will mentally shutdown and either get bloodgeoned or outright quit before the late rounds arrive.

Margarito was'nt wearing plaster in his Cotto fight.
A mollases slow Margarito touching up and hurting Pacroid to the point he needed hospitalization is proof of it imo.

I hope the fight is called off is someone comes in at 154 :deal

I think Cotto decisions Margo, after a rough night though.

I will be there live so I hope I will get to see Cotto get some ****ing redemption!

You may be right about the outcome, but you have no way of knowing whether Margarito was or wasn't cheating in the first fight. It stands to reason that a guy coming off a career win and moving to a fight against a lesser (based on perception at that time) opponent would not be inclined to cheat.

Maybe Margarito had a bad camp pre-Mosley and that's why he cheated, but odds are he was loaded up against Cotto, too.

I just think Margo has cottos number..the pressure will eventually catch up to Cotto...Cotto to me just dosent have the punching power and the stamina to constantly fight off the back foot like he did in the first fight...i think both are fairly damaged but Margo seems to be more durable..either way very exciting fight...

For anyone to say Margarito was loaded for Cotto is not to know the facts.

In California a fighter is allowed to use his own wrapping material to wrap his own hands.
Emmanuel Steward himself has admitted that in certain jurisdictions, you can bring your own stuff and wrap your fighters hands with them.
Thats what happened in California where Margarito got his hands wrapped by his trainer.
His trainer used old knucklepads that are generally inserted overy gauze on your knuckles and then more guaze is applied on over the knucklepad.
    Thats California.

In Las Vegas, fighters dont bring their own wrapping material. They have to wrap their hands with commision material.
The commision supplies the material and the fighter must wrap with it.
The inspector is there to oversee that and also oversee whoever is wrapping the fighter, make the knucklepad applied atop the knuckles from scratch.

These facts have been discussed at nauseum in threads that debated Margarito's possible cheating in other fights.

The fact is that there is close to zero probability Margarito cheated in Nevada for the Cotto fight, and even with the facts of Nevada providing wrapping material and have inspectors there to oversee that those materials are the one's being used, there are boneheads that refuse to acknowleadge what is fact.

Oh, please. You act like observing the wrapping process is like gaining entry into Fort Knox.

You never addressed the deductive reasoning above:

If Margarito could beat Cotto without cheating, why did he try to cheat against Mosley?

Trying to bail the water out of the boat with regulatory mumbo-jumbo is merely an attempt to obscure the fundamental logic in play.

I'm not saying Margarito cheated against Cotto; I'm saying that you can't eliminate the possibility.
