"These guys both have great chins, great determination and great power," Arum said. "It's going to be some battle. I just hope that they are not ruined from a fight like this."

Like you actually care, Bob. All you are thinking about is "Show me the money!!" On another note, this should be a great fight between two warriors!!! Real tough one to call. I like Margarito's workrate, toughness, height advantage, and chin. Cotto has the edge in speed, technique, boxing ability, and he is slightly younger. Both are about as equal as you can get in power; however, Cotto's punches are more compact thus they appear sharper and harder. Margarito will be throwing thudding punches from every conceivable angle. Will Margarito's workrate and chin be too tough for Cotto or will Cotto's obvious boxing skills advantage pay off in a long, hard 12 round battle? One thing is certain though. There will be two winners come July 26, 2008. One of the winners will be either Cotto/Margarito and the other winner will be the boxing fan. Good luck to both, and may the best man win. My pick; Margarito by 11th round TKO. P.S. Any word on Cotto's new trainer? If it is McGirt, it will be Margarito by KO in 6.

Don't throw Floyd in the mix ... this is going to be a tough fight .. and its going to be a tough battle ...

I don't know if we shall speak too soon for this fight --

Cotto has all to lose and not much to gain ...

Margarito is the fighter that has nothing to lose and all to gain from this fight...
I wouldn't take Margarito too lightly ... even though I think Cotto can will and should win ... its interesting to see whats going to go down --

I'm going to order this fight --

Wow - calculating your member start date and your posts, you average over 20 posts a day - two years strong.......DAMN.

I agree - Cotto wears Maragritio down in this fight, and outboxes him.

There will be no pressure for Floyd to fight the winner, but the winner will have some say to challenge Mayweather ... Floyd will not be obligated to fight the winner --

But I don't give either fighter the edge to beat Floyd ...

You don't give Robinson, Leonard or Hearns the edge to beat Floyd so thats nothing new.

I wasnt saying he would be "obligated" to fight the winner, I was just thinking that because this is such a big fight, it might put pressure on floyd to actually fight one of them :hey At the end of the day, floyd does what floyd wants (making money seems his main interest), but hopefully it will entice him into fighting the winner, cotto hopefully, and scrap any plans on another pointless rematch with Hatton, if that is indeed what he has planned

Im so pumped for this fight now, so glad its on.

Good to see top young prospect Mike Alvarado get on the undercard as well.
Hopefully Joshua Clottey is on as well, & im sure Top Rank will get 1 of their other top young prospects like a Urbano Antillon to close out the card,

Great fight to kick off the summer boxing season ... damn ... I hope they have a good undercard ... its going to be wack to pay $50 for a fight that has a terrible undercard ... but at the end of the day its to watch Cotto is what i'm paying for.
