    Excellent News!!!!!

Let's be real, now...can this fight be a challenge to the Vazquez-Marquez III fight that we previously witnessed?

Definitely, Cotto-Margarito has the characteristics of Fight of the Year. Can it top the other one?

I want to say yes!! What a nice match up and props to both fighters!

WE'RE ALL IN FOR A TREAT COME 07/26/08.

The only negative part I see about this fight is having to wait for it!
    :bbb

I'm pretty sure ringside seats are $700, and I heard a rumor tickets could go on sell Monday.

    Also according to Steve Kim...

"They'll be in Mexico City on Monday and Los Angeles on Tuesday, then New York and San Juan after that to promote the fight."

As good as Margarito is Cotto is twice as fast(something that really stood out watching them on the same card) and better all-around..
I give Margarito a slight edge on the inside due to his ability to mix up and put nice combinations together but Cotto is still great inside too...
Cotto will be able to pick his spots, keeping Margo at a distance and mixing it up at his choosing....all due to Cotto's solid, and lightening quick jab.

One thing Margo is very underrated at is his body punching.
Also Tony is the most active busy Pressure fighter in the sport today.
    (Even more so than Calzaghe)
He throws more punches per round than any fighter in the sport today.
and has awesome condition and power thruout a 12 round fight.
Let's not forget a granite chin.

it's not gonna be easy for Cotto. (Fight of his life)
Box, Box, Box, Move & Move again.
Do not trade, nah! on seocnd thought Trade Miguel!!
I wanna see what you are made of?

    Can't wait.

Unfortunately not, as it appears. The IBF is unwilling to give Tony his one optional prior to fighting the mandatory. He's doing a good thing though. They've already fought Clottey so bring on Cotto!
