I knew this fight would happen just like how I know the Cotto/Mayweather fight will happen.. This should be a very exhilarating fight and I know for sure I'll be on the edge of my seat.. This is gonna' be one hell of a "battle".. I'm picking Cotto for late round TKO.. :bbb

i think it would have been so much of a bigger fight if margarito hadnt of lost to williams. was not impressed at all with cotto's last opponent, it was a joke and considering the progress he had been making with zab and shugar shane, he then takes a huge step back in class that once again begs the question why should mayweather fight him? but alas this fight comes off and if he wins and wins impressively then he has to force the mayweather fight or one of a similar calibre

Because after Cotto beats Margo in impressive fashion then picks up he IBF belt in the fall/winter, everyone will demand this fight. It will be anthother huge fight that brings a lot of attention to the sport. Both will be undefeated, top 10 p4p fighters. The winner would hold all 3 major belts and be the undisputed champ. Mayweather was a part of two huge fights in 2007. 2009 will be the return of boxing's box office champ.

not much to gain? Are you serious? Beating Margo will show the world that Cotto, unlike Floyd is not afraid of a very tough fight. By Cotto winning he could cement his name as the man at 147, forcing Floyd out of hiding.
