Cotto by late TKO. Cotto is better both outside and in, and will thoroughly dominate Marg. Marg's aggessive fighting style, and limited boxing skills will make him a big target for Cotto.

I knew Cintron was going to lose, he has a frail mentality. He doesn't like pressure and doesn't seem to weather adversity very well. Sure he has weathered some adversity against guys other than Margarito, but he is SUPPOSE to beat guys like Suarez, Estrada, and Maltysshe. Those guys are made for Cintron.

Cotto on the other hand has shown an ability to overcome adversity and put the hurt back on his opponents. Just because Margo beat Cintron doesn't mean he will beat Cotto.

Margarito is overrated, hasnt faced anyone with skills like Cotto, even someone with some boxing skills in Williams troubled Margarito, how can he win a fight with Cotto who has way better movement than Williams, just cause he is 5'11 and has a iron chin he needs more for Cotto?

You probably think Cotto will just try and get inside and pressure all the fight? Cotto is way more than just pressure, he has skills, can fight on the outside as well as the inside, can switch hit, and is intelligent enough to go to the body if he cant hurt the head.

Cotto would win 9 times out of 10 with Margarito and will bump this thread when Cotto schools Margarito.

Cotto by UD, Margo throws a lot of shots, but that make him vulnerable to Cotto inside game by landing the shorter and quicker shots. I can see Cotto getting the better of Margo when both goes inside, but Cotto will not stand there with his guard up the way Cintron did, he would use lateral movements after landing combinations to avoid sustaining shots, However I wouldn't be surprise if margo landed a shot a KO's him

Cotto on points... Did you see the size difference between him and Gomez? Or Mosley? Or Judah? They are all taller in life yet they seemed like the smaller ones in the ring.

As I've said several times, Cotto is a monster. Too big, too strong for Margarito who did a great job tonight but got caught with a lot of clean punches and still struggles with the Clotteys and Williams'. Cotto is on a different level. Margarito should see the 12th but I don't see him making it close...

But what a hell of a superfight... two very exciting fighters with the opposite style. One is a very strong, very physical boxer/puncher who picks and places his shots perfectly, the other is a Tommy-gun punching machine with great punch variety and output. Should be FOTY stuff... BRING IT ON!

Margarito would be the biggest fighter that Cotto fought in his career. There is a big size difference between them but I'll still pick Cotto in a really close fight. Margarito is no Gomez he can hurt Cotto and he also throws alot of punches in a round but I still think Cotto wins.

    Cotto

He'd use his superior movement to offset Margarito's pressure, selectively pick his spots to counter, and generally outbox him. Even on the inside, Cotto is better defensively and throws the harder, more accurate punches. Margarito would get hurt to the body.

Margo by a late TKO probably starting with some vicious uppercuts as Cotto ducks his head lunging in to throw a bodyshot.
