Cotto should beat him comfortably. The key point you made is regarding skills. Cotto has them, Margarito doesn't, not really.

Good post. But I disagree in that you make it sound easier than what it will be for Cotto. The main reason is going to be the workrate and physicality of Margarito. If Cotto desides to trade, its going to be a KO for Margarito. If he fights smart and sticks to boxing, he can get the decision, given that he doesnt get caught with something. Guys also look at the Clottey fight. Although Margarito didn't look to be at his best, which I know he wasn't, he was eventually able to get the ball rolling and nail Clottey with some good shots, especially to the body. Clottey proved to be an excellent counter puncher, but eventually Margarito got to him one way or another. It seemed he complained more about his hands when it was convenient (i.e.when things got to rough for him).
