I have to agree the Mosley incident has left doubts on Margarito's previous victories. I think a good solution would be a rematch at 154 it would be big, and can restore pride for at least one of the fighters
So despite what Margarito's side tried to pull, you still think it's more probable that they hadn't done it before than the opposite? Sorry to insist, but it seems strange that you think of this as just a bad moment on Margarito's career, with no impact on his legacy whatsoever.
Eat the peanuts outta my ****, you ho. If that's true, then you're terrible at predicting fights. :bart
Hitting a guy when he's down is a very common foul in boxing. Usually refs don't do anything, or just give a warning. Occasionally they take a point away. Usually the only time a fighter is DQ'd or it ends in a no-contest is when the guy who gets hit can't or won't go on. I'm not overly critical of Abraham for what he did. He was frustrated and lost his composure and fukked up. It happens. Lennox Lewis hit Mike Acey three times when he was down and Acey got up. All Lewis got was a warning. Terry Norris hit Joe Walker when he was down and Walker couldn't continue, so Norris got DQ'd. Norris did it against Leonard and got a warning. He did it to Waters and got a point deducted. If Dirrell didn't get so ****ed up by that punch (or didn't act, depending on your viewpoint), it would've just been one of many cases where a guy hit a downed opponent and got a warning or point deduction.
It just shows Margarito will do anything to win, but also shows others Cotto is not a sore loser and crier. Too much crying and complaining lately during fights, Berto complaining, Hopkins complaining and acting is not even the word and lets forget when they lose how they take loses, I won't even mention Toney taking his defeats. And Dirrell just brings a smile in my face.
