Cotto vs. Margo(without plasters). Whats your take?

Margo KO, just like the first time.

 

You dont know that Margo had the plaster wraps in the Cotto fight.

But if he did, I would assume that Cotto would win pretty comfortably.

 

Of course he seemed "confident", he knew what he had. Now look at the Mosley fight and tell me if seemed "confident" that he would catch up to Mosley sooner or later? **** NO!

I hope they do have a re-match so we can put all this to rest once and for all.....:good

Plaster wraps bull****. Cotto didnt say a goddamn thing about Margaritos punches, other than the fact that he kept getting caught by them.

 

Do we know what these wraps were made of? How hard they are? Are they just thick tape?

Theres too many "ifs" here to say that Cotto could have changed such an emphatic defeat.

Cotto goes the distance easily.

 

Stiff tape is "hard", that doesn't make it plaster as you are claiming. Everything else is guess work, the 5:1 ratio is a guess as is how the punches were affecting Cotto or how they would have affected without the wraps. Margo wore Cotto down by taking his punches and asserting himself physically and I think he'd probably do the same with or without hard tape (or whatever it was) in his gloves. (Plaster or similar excepted). Cotto has just never liked having to fight at a hard, sustained pace.


This whole incident is big on speculation and low on facts. We don't know what was in the gloves or how they would have affected Cotto or even if those type of wraps were worn for the Cotto fight at all!!!!

And yet, despite knowing none of these things, some people seem confident that Cotto would have won the fight.... atsch

 

cotto is a class act just in case u haven't noticed he ain't cryin over spilled milk but it is obvious marga knew something ,he didn't against mosley he looked like they took something away from him justice will be served when cotto will put that joker away no doubt about it the outcome would of been the same like the williams fight cotto would survived it and marga's career would be over it is anyway so it's all good!!!!!
