if they rematched and its true that margarito did cheat in past fights who would win the rematch. to me i believe cotto mentally would want to get in his ass cuz anyone that uses plaster against me imma kill but i think cotto had the first fight won easily if he had stayed off the ropes and kept to the body. i know margarito likes to rely on his chin so thats why he leaves it so open but even if a guy is covering up the body your own arms dig in and still take away wind. cotto just does what he normally does and trades when he feels he is in trouble but i really believe if he would keep it in the center of the ring and land good body shots he can win a rematch
Good analysis, anyways almost everyone think the same way if Cotto stays of his normal go to the ropes and pick his shots he would win easy, but sadly is in his normal fight stile and need to change that if He wants to win the rematch.
i was pissed that he was staying on the ropes. you cant hit what you cant catch and if cotto would of stuck to that he would of won but doubt they will rematch anytime soon
I was **** off too, by the way of Cotto going to the ropes and trade with Margo, someting that do not work well on him.
If Cotto can improve his stamina just a little more and keep up what he did in the first 6 rounds, he would win the rematch. There is no other sure way to know if Margarito was loaded for their fight, other than a rematch. I would rather see cotto rematch margo more than him fighting mayweather or pac.
margarito had the better game plan that night, plain and simple. he made cotto fight a pace he couldn't fight at. It really showed around the 6th round and he capitalized. It didn't matter what margarito did or didn't have on his hands, just was smarter that night.
If it's true that Margo cheated then Cotto's got a chance... if not, then Cotto gets destroyed again.
margerito could be ****ed, he took bombs from cotto in the 1st fight and mosely hit him with everything u gotta start to question how much he has left

I picked Cotto for the first fight and I see no reason to change my opinion in the rematch if it ever comes about.
Miguel Mayweather do what he done again w/o getting tired and slowing down he be alright. His whole in his new style was too much output
