Cotto vs Marquez at 145 catch weight

    Ok,
    Both losers to the 2 hottest guys in boxing. I think maybe these 2 should fight to earn there way back into the elite's again.

    How do you see this fight going?

    Imagine the Marquez-Diaz fight only Diaz had way more power and Marquez is slower and didn't punch Diaz as hard as he did.

    :lol: I read it again and damn, I did not make any sense

    anyway, my point is that Diaz was an aggressive pressure fighter and he was tagging Marquez a lot during the fight. But Diaz doesn't hit that hard. Cotto's an aggressive fighter too who is applies a steady and strong pressure against his opponents. So it's easy to imagine that Cotto will tag Marquez as often as Diaz, the difference being Cotto has way more power than Diaz. I don't think Marquez would survive that...

    Marquez was able to beat diaz because he's an excellent counter puncher and he actually hits pretty hard 135 and below. But we saw in the Marquez-mayweather fight that his power wasn't really much against a real WW, so even if Marquez was able to counter Cotto (I have no doubt that he can) I have a feeling Cotto would take those shots very well...

    Let me explain to you slow-witted *****...what he meant is that JMM and Diaz fighting at 145, and the JMM that showed up is the slow, bloated and no pop- in-his-punch JMM, like what showed up at JMM-PBF fight, and the Diaz that showed up has the speed and power of Cotto that showed up at the Pac-Cotto fight. Who do you think will go down?? Got it now??

    JMM doesnt belong @ 141 and above.... i even doubt he dominates 140lbs. Just didnt carry his speed and power at the higher weights. He destroys everybody at 135 though.

    It could be a good fight, boxing and skillwise for both is at par, but Cotto will still come out as the stronger and bigger man. JMM already has no power in WW, it showed against Floyd. Miguel KO win in 8th or 9th round.
