Cotto vs Marquez at 145 catch weight

For **** sake. Why can't people just admit at best Marquez is a 140 fighter? How much evidence do you want that he's got nothing to offer at 147? Cotto would thrash him, it's just kind of like the Pacquiao fight in regards to when the referee decides to stop it or his corner pull him out, because Marquez won't quit.

There's slim options for Marquez in the big fight category because everyone is whizzing around at the 147 mark, Marquez can't get that high. He's limited to Junior Welterweight, and the choices he has really are either Malignaggi if he comes through, Hatton if... I won't even paint a ****ing return scenario for Hatton incase it comes to fruitition, and Amir Khan if he doesn't get ****ing planted again. Not huge elite money making fights or even fights with Marquez could be the guy who the fight caters for. Odds are two of those fighters out of three would want to fight in the UK, though Malignaggi really doesn't have much bartering poweer so that's probably going to be a neutral fight that I'm sure Marquez isn't even interested in.

not a good fight for JMM. 135 is the highest he can do imo. at 140, i think he'll lose to bradley

JMM is barely a 135 fighter and in fact struggled against gatekeepers in that division while Cotto is a full MW.

How about we just eliminate the catchweight and let JMM come in at any weight while Cotto will come in as long as it is in the welterweight limit.
