yes he has bad balance, and it doesn't concern his chin. Its the reason he get knockdown most of the time in his career without really being hurt.

Cotto needs to go down to 147 and get himself a real conditioning coach, I honestly don't think he is DONE, he is a good fighter, to young to be thinking about retirement, but his stamina issues and Heart is always questionable.. he suffers that same backpedaling mentality as Oritz, looks great when in lead, but hates the pressure. Stamina is the main thing I would fix about Cotto. He can cut to 147 easy, but needs a S&C good coach to put him in line.

The guy he has now seems to be working, but I agree that he should go to 147.

I do not agree with this myth that he can't make 147, yet he's somehow too small for 154.

Marquez vs Cotto would be a great fight though. Marquez may very well be contemplating this, but I think he owes Pacquaio a fifth fight if Pacquaio desires one.

I am surprised people think Marquez would win this one. Cotto is better than Marquez and just as fast.

No I don't think so, he is a good strategist, that's about it, he needs a separate coach for S&C IMO, and I don't believe that **** about him being small for WW, I think he is just to ****ing Lazy to properly cut, cause I saw him weigh in at 154, dude definitely looked like in the wrong division or maybe he doesn't have that burning desire to push himself anymore, to cut weight or something. 154 is not for him.

The only decent welterweight that Marquez beats is Pacquiao, and that's because he's been living, breathing, and sleeping with him on his mind for the past decade. He knows him to a T.

Ortiz, Berto, Bradley, Guerrero, vintage Cotto/Mosley... They all beat Marquez IMO. I hope he fights a decent fighter at 147, other than Pacquiao, before he retires though. I'd gladly eat my crow.

Its amazing how perceptions change so quickly, a few years ago this fight would be almost illegal to make!
