Cotto vs Martinez in MSG @154

Would be a great fight. Martinez by a close deciosion.

 

No it wouldnt be fun. I wouldnt want to watch it either. I'm a big fan of both fighters and Cotto is too small with too good of a chin...Cotto would take a serious beating for 12 rounds...I really don't want to see that.

Not a good match. Cotto should be fighting Margarito next.

 

Ive always thought Cotto could beat Williams but not Martinez, if anything, last night enhance that view.

It would be competitive for a bit, but eventually Martinez would start to clock Cotto with the right hooks. Easy UD for Maravila.

Cotto gets stopped, yuri foreman wobbled him and he can hardly punch.

 

Not as easy as most would like to think, IMO.
My main concern with Cotto is his scar tissue around his eyes.
Seems to be his pattern since his jump from 140 to & beyond
MC cut's & it changes his entire fight.

Anyway, I'd watch.
But would rather see Margarito/Cotto II @ 154lbs.

Cotto was a talent, and a good guy. I hate to see anyone permanently damaged, but what happened to Marg was karma.

 

Cotto would get picked apart by Martinez, and stopped, IMO. Williams would outwork Cotto, and either win a decision or stop him. His workrate is too high and he throws too many punches.

 

if Cotto vs marg 2 happens and Cotto wins, i can see him facing Martinez. Im not sure if Cotto's acclimated completely to 154 yet, but if he does, it would be a competitive fight. but i think Martinez wins via UD
