Cotto vs. Mayweather: Post your scorecards

    I know a lot of you won't post scorecards because you care what the other keyboard warriors think. Personally, i don't give a ****.

    Here's mine.

    1 - Mayweather
    2 - Cotto
    3 - Mayweather
    4 - Mayweather
    5 - Cotto
    6 - Cotto
    7 - Mayweather
    8 - Cotto
    9 - Cotto
    10 - Even
    11 - Mayweather
    12 - Mayweather

    Final score: Mayweather 115, Cotto 114

    Things they did right and wrong:

    Cotto:

    Good - Great pressure, defense, fought smart and wasn't suckered into traps. Good jab.

    Bad - Didn't come back with the left hook several times after he successfully slipped the right hand and Floyd was open. Took the fight to center ring, which is never a good idea against Floyd. Should have kept it inside to minimize Floyd's hand speed and effectiveness at range.


    Floyd:

    Good - Great adjustments made when finding holes in Cotto's style. Always impressive to see that. Great job deflecting/rolling with punches.

    Bad - Should have continued to walk Cotto down for the KO. I think he could have had it but held back for some reason. Completely took Round 6 off. Not a great offensive fight...limited flurries & effective combo's.

    didnt even try to score the bout coz those beers just kept me busy for the rest of the in-between rounds. but at least I gave Cotto 4 rounds max.
