Ring Magazine did a survey and Cotto was the favorite "besides Manny" he had something like 60-70% of the vote if I remember, but it was more than 50% for sure..

If Cotto is not a legit opponent... there's not a lot of legit opponents out there.

Get the hell out of here with that nonsense. Casual fans care about knowing a fighter and almost all casual fans know BOTH Cotto and Mayweather, so this fight will sell big time.

Maybe the Mayweather-Cotto fight itself wouldn't sell, but the undercard Canelo-Mosley will help out sales quite a bit... especially on Cinco de Mayo. That's a guarantee.

u obviously dont know **** about america and PPVs. mexicans, americans, and puerto ricans will eat this **** up. Floyd ALWAYS does over a mill. Cotto did over 600K in his last fight. use your brain and do the math.

    floyd vs cotto = 1.5+

pac vs bradley = 800K :yep

I didn't read, but I have also been saying that PPV numbers will be far below "Money's usual numbers" once they added Wright and Mosley to the card. If they would have matched Quillin and Alvarez with some solid fighters who are not WAY-PAST their primes...this could have actually been an excellent card. Especially if they'd matched Alvarez versus K9 Bundrage (who currently holds the IBF strap) or even Delvin Rodriguez. Quillin versus Acline, Fernando Guererro or even Jermain Taylor would have been Awesome....but a 41 yr old Winky Wright who hasn't fought sine 2009...REALLY?
