yeah maybe hes gonna potshot his way to victory but im still rooting for cotto.

 

Mayweather all day....Ive seen the cotto/judah fight....judah just doesnt know how to finish off his opponents....cotto was off balance alot throughout that fight lokking sloppy at times....so Mayweather!!!.....Cotto isnt ready

Cotto RIGHT NOW at 147lbs is a bigger threat to Floyd than Castillo at 135lbs.

Because, if he attempts to pot-shot, Cotto will simply outhustle him with a steady stream of hard combinations, once he gets in close (and, yes, Cotto will find a way to get in close). However, Floyd still can throw impressive combinations, both at range, and in close, and, right now, I think he's still capable of making the adjustments needed to survive Cotto's attack.

Cotto will have his moments. He will win his share of rounds. It wouldn't shock me if could pull out a win. But, at this moment, I think Mayweather wins a close decision after twelve hard-fought, aesthetcially pleasing rounds that will serve to enhance both fighter's credibility.

 

Very good post. Cotto is a hell of a threat to Floyd because he pressures relentlessly and has thudding power. I could envision Cotto finding a way to get to PBF and actually think he's a bigger threat than Oscar was to PBF. I'd love to see this fight.

 

Why even bother to argue with someone who says that Mayweather "wooped " Castillo twice when the rest of the boxing wolrd knows what really went down in their 1st fight .

 

At this point Mayweather wins by UD, give it a couple of years and maybe Cotto wins by stoppage

i just found it amazing how after such a tough fight with castillo. he figured him out so well that he really did give him a schooling the second fight

 

I don't disagree about the 2nd fight it was much more clear in the reamcth ..But to say he wooped him twice just made me wonder what the hell were you watching ..I hope that clears that up for you because I can't stand people who love to exxagerrate !
