Hey guys, back from my ban and I wanted to see what you guys would think of a potential Miguel Cotto vs Floyd Mayweather Jr fight. I know it isn't Pac vs Floyd but I have always wanted to see this fight. Particularly when Cotto was at 140 and undefeated. But I still think it could be a very good fight today. Cotto would give floyd all he could handle with that jab and body work, or at least give him a better fight than most could. What do you say? Would you be happy if this fight was signed for the summer? And how would you see the fight going?

That jab looks hell of a lot good against grandpa mayorga. But let's be real for a second. The current cotto bruises way to easily. Mayweather precise punching would close miguel eye.

I would be satisfied because I've wanted to see this bout for a long time. Would be a half decent tune-up for Mayweather also...but only if he goes on to face Pacquiao afterwards.

If Mayweather isn't willing to face Pacquiao, there is no point in him boxing again.

So if Mayweather took on andre berto you wouldn't like to see it?

If Mayweather fought Khan you wouldn't like to see that either?

I didn't say I wouldn't like to see him, but what's the point if it's not Pacquiao, or say a Martinez? Would you be satisfied with both these guys sticking to their own career path without ever settling it in the ring?

Has Berto done enough yet to ask for a bout with Mayweather, or even Pacquiao? Debatable.

Khan certainly hasn't done enough...and at this point, would be stopped by both Maywather and Pacquiao.

Kind of interesting bouts, but on the scale of a Mayweather-Pacquiao bout? Not even close.

I look at it like this. If khan handles bradley he more than done enough to challenge a top dog at 147 considering he the king at 140. I mean ricky hatton did it, and Khan is better than Hatton.

Berto has been at WW for a long time now, it time to finally see how good he really is. He might be the type of fighter who rises to the level of his competition.

Obviously one would like to see pac v mayweather go at it. But I think that fight will never happen as both guys are messing about.

I'd like to see only as a tune up! But Cotto isn't the type to ask to fight anyone only who Arum puts in front of him.

Arum would never want Floyd to make any money from him fighters so not likely!

But we all know what happens in this fight......still be good to see.

The Khan bout if it were ever to be negotiated would be early 2012 at the earliest. I couldn't see the point in it. Mayweather beating the fairly unproven Khan, but yet to step in with Pacquiao.

Berto needs to get back in the ring with a competitive boxer as soon as before he thinks about a bout with Mayweather.

And if it becomes even more likely that Mayweather-Pacquiao is never going to happen. If neither is say willing to bring Martinez back down to 154lbs for a bout...there are very few if any legacy enhancing bouts for either.

    Mayweather v Cotto??

Cotto had a hard time beating Mayorga, whose wide looping punches and awful ring craftsmanship and defence make him a C classs fighter

Cotto used to be an animal but Margarito beat it out of him. He hasn't looked the same since

Mayweather beats him via 12 round unanimous decision and he wouldn't lose a round

    How would khan be unproven?

He would have beat kotenlik, maidana and bradley three solid wins, and would beat alexander as well. Moving up to 147 i would pick khan to beat mosley as long as he follows roach game plan. Khan is way more active than mayweather he probably would jab the **** out of the old man.

That makes no sense, there is plenty of point in him boxing. He could fight cotto and still do over 1m ppv buys. He could also fight khan, berto, williams.
