It was not a close fight, Cotto won 3 rounds max, and one of those rounds (Round 6) was because Floyd let his foot off the pedal.

Dont get me wrong, Cotto make Floyd work for it, each round was intense, unless you cant judge a fight properly, i cant see how anyone could give this to anything but Floyd.

 

You said it perfectly. I completely agree.

Cotto showed big cojones and never stopped trying and pressing but it wasnt a close fight on the scorecards. Floyd countered well off the back foot and his defense was very solid in that fight.

 

I like to watch the fights in mute, forget the commentators.

Cotto landed the quality Mayweather as usual gets all the glancing and s****ing shots off gloves and taps that make the moron announcers quiver with delight, biased as hell. Judged on quality of blows the fight was close.

 

You mean 10-10, which is basically reserved for opening rounds where neither fighter does anything.

 

watching this live i scored it only for may by 2 rounds (it was in a busy pub so i heard no commentary) my good mate only gave it to may by one or 2 aswell. when we went back and watched it HOLY **** we could not believe we gave cotto so much.... its a common trend with floyd fights if you see him a rough fight it shocks you because he usually just toys with everyone. cotto only won 2 or 3 rounds but almost everyone was competitive.

 

i dont think iv ever 10-10'd an opening round, usually with the output being so low i look for the quality of the 1 or 2 punches both fighters land

Showtime commentators makes the HBO commentators look like amateurs when it comes to bias commentating.

 

i think this is one of the fight where it was rumored that floyd "inadvertently" tested positive for PED.
