say mosley gets by berto and still cant score a big fight against manny or floyd.
would a rematch with cotto appeal to you and how do you see it going, is cotto a shell of what he used to be or dose he still have enough left to be competitive against mosley

yes... it will show whether or not Cotto still has it in him.... it will also answer questions like:

did past fights/losses with so-and-so take away from him?...
    is he on the downhill?
    is his corner too green?
    etc..

do you think cotto is shot, or is it still to early to tell.
the man has had a brutal career and has sustained a constant beating more then any current name boxer i can think of (maybe JT)
i personaly would like to see cotto get another shot (and another good payday) but i think the cotto of old is gone:-(

Possibly end of 2010 early 2011 if mosley still champ and cotto has beaten a good tune up in collazo and maybe even if berto lost to mosley. So cotto might not have the title or mite beat the ibf champ but ibf wud probably mess up a posible unification fight

not sure the Cotto of old is gone yet cause at times he does display it...
yeah he fought in wars so that probably hastened some of his ringlife away... but hey, he fought and lost to the best... if your hypo- does fall in place I want to see a rematch so I can see if Cotto can still be considered as one of the best... "Will he ever comeback on top?" is the big question.

I don't see this fight happening - but if it does - the way Shane was pressing at the end of their first fight - would leave me to believe that he would try to jump on Cotto right away.

He took a beating vs. Clottey as well. I doubt Mosley is going to want to fight in the Garden again, so I don't see this fight happening.

I dont think cotto should, let him have that win, another win would mean much of nothing- a loss only means he is going down hill or that they should have a 3 rd fight. really let them fight others. meanwhile I think its ok Cotto should have a 2nd fight go after Marfgo. and Mostley should get into tv acting with his big smile. ha ha see him standing inbetween the recent photo of Hopkins and Orneleas what a funny face.

Cotto needs at least 2 years to be back at that level

A great idea for Moseley an awful idea for Cotto. Even if Cotto won he would take some nice shots to do so. He needs one or two gimmes where he takes no damage wins gets his confidence back regains that intimidation factor he used to have and then he can fight Moseley. I think Cotto can always bounce back and beat Moseley or Berto or Hylatswayo or even give Maywheather trouble. But if he insists to jump back into the fire expect him to take a beating. He may become the next Jermain Taylor Jeff Lacy Type

I dont think Mosley would wanna try and avenge Cotto at this very point. Cotto has took some beatings recently and Shane would not want that king of win. I think Shane would want Cotto to beat someone tough in the meantime maybe a Collazo at the least.

I wouldn't mind seeing it, as it was an entertaining fight, but it won't do anything for Cotto really, and at this point, I don't think he'd be able to win. I think his whole aura and mystique, being this undeafeated welterweight destroyer might have had an effect on Mosley, so he played it a bit more cautious then he should've and gave Cotto a lot of respect. After seeing Cotto get beat down twice, and beating one of the guys who did it, I'm sure Mosley will come out swinging and crush Cotto early.
