Cotto vs Mosley. ITS ON F*CKERS!!!

    Oscar has bad footwork compared to Cotto though. He plods around the ring, especially in the first Mosley fight. He stood there too often like against floyd waiting to be hit. Cotto is a lot quicker coming in and is more consistent then Oscar. Thats why I see him taking it out. I thought oscar beat Shane the second time too. What about you? I will add that I think Oscar has the quicker hands then Cotto just for the record.

    I thought it was even the second time. As the HBO team including Steward said. People at home would have thought Oscar cause of his flashy combos that were actually not doing all that much and people live thought Shane because of his cleaned hard connections including ALOT of good bodyshots. When i watched it at the pub I saw those digging body shots and thought he is scoring but will the judges see it the same way.

    I thought Oscar won it also, but not anywhere near what the nuthuggers said.

    The first fight was a great battle against two elite fighters, the second wasnt so good but still a gripping fight because it was close coming into the last few rounds.

    I think Mosley stuggles with good fighters who are bigger and stronger than him because he is a physical fighter who comes in with his hands low. A good rangy fighter can pick him off coming in and a stronger fighter wont be bullied around by him.
    Cotto is shorter and probably smaller physically, so stylewise is should be an better matchup for Shane.

    I just feel Cotto is a better fighter at this stage and can fight at an elite level pace, whereas in recent years Shane throws one punch at a time and isnt as active as he was.
    Shane is one of those physically special fighters who never really relied on true skill to get them where they were. When they start physically declining it can be a pretty steep drop, much like Roy.

    Zab is a very good fighter. Just different to Shane. They both pose different problems. Shane will do more damage but will be there to get hit more then Zab was also.
