Mosley 7 rounds to 3 (two even) with the fight even at the end of round 5. Cotto hurts Shane more than once early but Shane starts getting more into the fight, cuts Miguel badly and takes over from round 5. Cotto snaps and low blows, punches on the break, wrestles Shane on desperation and gets points deducted as he wins the 11th and 12th rounds ( those are the two rounds even)...Evangelista and Bob goinsane and Shane is booed as he leaves ringside. Pure imagination as I have no idea how this one goes. lol. Whoever wins has my total support for real!
Trac209 may think that Mosley can get to Cotto more than he could to Collazo, actually Vargas is the closest to Cotto in Mosley's and many other's minds - check equal prediction on HBO's page and Bob Cannobio's article (Compu-box pre-fight analysis). It is equally fair to make a prediction based on the Mosley-Vargas fight outcome as it is based on Cotto-Judah's.
Mosley TKO's Cotto Tonight at Madison Square Garden 36 year old "Sugar" Shane Mosley disproved the prevailing notion that "youth would be served" by overpowering the 26 year old WBA Welterweight Champion with blazing combinations and hurtful bodypunching that saw the Purto Rican native rocked several times before finally succumbing to a crushing uppercut in the 7th round that dropped him to his knees, prompting his trainer/uncle, Evangelista Cotto, to throw in the towel. Referee Benji Esteves waved off the bout at :59 of the 7th round. Cotto was very game throughout but never could launch his usual heavy offensive assault in the face of Mosley's superior jab and lightning-quick combinations to the head and body. (more to follow)
