    Bull**** Cotto excuse thread!

    Cotto has ALWAYS fought the same way. He's always been a puncher-boxer type with good skills, and solid but not great power and speed. **** he fought Abdullaev the same way he fought Shane. His style never changed.

    He's always boxed against certain opponents and been more of a pressure fighter against others.

    It just depended on the opponent/situation.

    He was largely on the backfoot in other fights early in his career, such as the Abdullaev fight. He spent a lot of the Ndou fight in this manner if I remember correctly.
