I am not attention seeking. I just can not ever see Sky or anyone else showing this fight. Sky would have mentioned it if they had plans to show the fight. They have already got fights lined up so will not be going out to buy this.

The fight's over a month away, they've not even started advertising the Haye fight yet.

It's in Sky's interest to show it if Pacquaio wins and faces Floyd.

that was "free" only because of the delay, when it was originally announced and Floyd came to the UK it was gonna be on PPV.

I can't see them putting Pacquiao vs Cotto on PPV on its own, i do think there'll be some sort of Maloney or Warren little card before hand.

don't really mind tbh as long as we get the option

It's a Top Rank show and I don't think Sky have shown any Top Rank shows since the pre-Setanta days. Setanta, of course, had the contract with TR. As far as US coverage is concerned, Sky now seem to show only cards promoted, or at least co-promoted, by GBP. I'm starting to get worried about this one, as it's likely to be FOTY.

don't worry my friend it WILL be televised one way or the other, its too big to not be, throw the TR thing outta the window in these occassional mega fights. These superbowls of boxing come under a different heading with different rules.

One thing about Cotto vs Pacquiao is why now? OK so it keeps it in company house, but the main reason is Cotto's flirtation with Goldenboy has been well publisized, so Bob rewards him with a Big fight to make the money back while he's still a draw in a fight he has little chance of winning. Knowing that he'll jump ship eventually he wants to send Cotto away as used, abused, damaged goods, this is BA's way of saying you wonna leave me? well i'm gonna make sure you ain't making dollars for someone else.

Slip, I don't know how long Cotto's new contract runs for, but I suspect, even after Cotto loses to Pac, BA will want to promote Cotto-Margarito II when the latter returns from suspension.

Either they aren't showing it or if they do than it will be on sky sports or delayed coverage. 100% wont be box office.

Part of the deal for the Pac man fight was that Cotto would sign a new contract with Arum, which he has now done.
