What are everyones thoughts on this one? I think it is good tbh. Should be a great fight. Im picking Cotto for this tbh! G
I agree mate, I think Cotto certainly appears to have improved whilst Pacquaio does seem to on the slide. I wouldn't be to quick to rule him out yet, he may still have enough left in the tank. For me its all down to whether Cotto will be able to adapt his style second time round, because the original one is just made for Pacquiao! Although I think it may be a pretty cool fight, I'm just so bloody fed-up with all this avoidance of the fight that really matters. atsch
I feel Cotto can do it, I think there hoping Cotto will come to Manny and engage but with Diaz he seems to the type to devise a plan that would trouble Roach and Pacquiao. I'm going for Cotto to win on points, I think his jab and his timing will help him. I even think he could mix it with Pac a little. I think Miguel is a stronger man mentally then he was the first time. He still hadn't got over the defeat to Cheato IMO.
Cannot find the article, but type in Miguel Cotto news on google and click further results for miguel cotto news and scroll through, Got work so aint got time to check it all out! hope it happens G
I don't really like this fight. It'll be very exciting but the weight is too much of an issue. Pac said he won't fight above 150 again and if he fights Cotto at a catchweight people will complain. If Pac wins either way, theres a good chance people will once again say Cotto is past it and is leftovers.
I think Cotto would win this. Pac should avenge the 'loss' to Bradley and then retire. He's not shot by any means, but the fire from the first Cotto fight is gone, permanently.
It's really interesting that people can get excited over this - the first fight was a one sided beat-down. In a world where Pacquiao only has a couple of fights left, it's really hard to be interested in a fight he's already won.
Only way this fight is worth the money is if its at 154 but we all know mister arum will not let that happen. imagine if cotto beat Pacman in the rematch... there goes pac-floyd
