Cotto Vs pacman who will you be rooting for?

Honestly Cotto but I won't be dissapointed if Pacquiao wins.

I like Pac, not a "fan" really, but the guy is amazing. But Cotto is one of my favs for years, so Miguel it is.

A win for Cotto would set him up to major fights and i think he needs a big win considering many people are doubting him now saying he aint the same since Margo and that his performance saturday did not answer many peoples questions.

 

As much as I like Cotto, He has soft skin and when, not if, he gets cut, he'll have problems seeing Pacman's speed.

 

Cotto no doubt but I'm a huge fan of Pacman and would like to have one of the rare scenerios where both leave the ring with greater accolades than the hour before the fight. Sucks to be a fan of Cotto/Pac/PBF as they will eventually all face eachother.

 

A win vs Pac would definitely help Cotto get more mega fights in the future. But considering that it's Pacquiao he would be facing and that the fight could be at a catchweight (below 147 of course), imo even if Cotto lost, the manner in which he would lose would play a big role. I mean, if the fight takes place at 143 pounds and Pac gets a SD, then it wouldn't hurt Cotto too much.

 

Cotto because he is one of my favorite fighters. I'll be disappointed if he loses. I'll get over it though because we get to witness Mayweather-Pacquiao.

 

Very true. Even if Cotto wins but it turned out to be a full on war with Manny you never know what kind of toll it will take on Cotto because he has been in constant tough fights. Also a win would set him up where he was late 2007 where we thought a fight with Mayweather was inevitable but never happened. Beating Manny would make it happen.

 

Good points. In all fairness, though, imo Cotto wouldn't be able to beat Mayweather, if Floyd shows up just like we saw him in his last fights. In my mind, it would more or less turn out like the DLH-PBF fight, Cotto trying to pressure him, but Mayweather countering and slipping effectively. But this is all speculation, of course...

 

Yeah i also believe Floyd would decision Cotto but he does have a chance and not just a punchers chance. I would still like to see the rematches with mosley and Margo as well.

 

So you wont give Cotto credit if he wins? IMO beating Pacquiao would be a big win for Miguel and considering almost everyone here thinks Pac will stop Cotto a win for Miguel can not be unappreciated.
