To even put Hatton in the same sentence as your argurment next to Barrera, Morales, Marquez just killed it. Clottey, Margarito were the 2 most avoided fighters in boxing and Cotto fought both of them. Both Clottey and Margarito weren't past their primes coming off losses like Morales and Barrera were. Cotto has fought fighters are either that are brawlers or slick fighters. Pacquiao only has fought mostly brawlers not slick pure boxers.
