First, I was impressed with Cotto, but not the least bit surprised. Cotto's skill and tremendous timing were going to show up no question. That's the fighter that would have given Mayweather fits. I knew to expect a more aggressive tact from Pacquiao after the first, and I got what I expected for the most part.

But you still took the time to support the fight by watching a "cheater" in action. That's real original.

Probably the most pumped up I've been from watching a fight was after round 1.

The fight should have been closer. Not having an experienced trainer in your corner meant no proper adjustments after the ~3rd round. He needs to hire some one else, like a Nazim Richardson.

I said i told you so to all the people i was watching the fight with. I kept telling them Cotto would dominate with the jab. I was so happy then the 2nd round Pac won but it was ok and as Cotto was winning the 3rd i got happy until he got KD. It wasnt a hard kd so i thought he was ok i also thought he won the 4th if it wasnt for the kd.

If only Cotto hadnt gotten confident and tried to trade with Pac.

I don't think he underestimated him, but I do think he got a little sloppy in the 3rd and started getting caught with some well timed shots. Cotto became a little undisciplined after the 1st few rounds, I think in part because he thought he could get to Pac and hurt him. But after the 2nd KD, he was hurt, and I dont think he ever fully recovered even though he was game for a round or 2 afterwards. It didnt help that his corner had very little to contribute.

Agree 100%. I think it would have been a different fight if he had kept boxing Pac rather than get drawn into those wild exchanges that Pac is so good at.

We could see the start of everything unwinding for Cotto by the 3rd round before the KD. The flurries by Pac were exposing Cotto. Someone should have reeled Cotto's line back in, he was obviously going to far toe to toe and getting lost in the deep end.

They couldn't see those exchanges were leaving Cotto wide open? I got the impression that Cotto was just wincing and sort of holding on as Manny unrolled those flurries. They should have gone to a different plan before the 2nd KD at least.

I thought Cotto will still Knock Pac out after the 4round....until i heard joe santiago's pathetic advice "we can recoup, we can recoup, lets do it, lets recoup!"

"ZOMG Pac is losing this fight, he bitten off more than he could chew, those ***git ass Cotto fans are gonna rub it in now"

So many mood swings in heavy emotional invested fights such as this one.
