JMM is the better cash cow between the two. That's why the fight is re-scheduled close to the Mexican independence day coz "No Money" Mayweather can't sell tickets with his own ****ing name.

 

sad but true. i know there are fans that will disagree and make excuses (ie: all/both of floyd's fans would buy tickets on fight week, other fights didn't sell well to start and turned out to be blockbusters) but the bottom line is that you know a cash cow and a star when you see one: floyd isn't. what he IS is a very good bad guy. so when you have a hero (ie: oscar, hatton, pac) that people want to see win and you pit him against a bad guy (mayweather) they will buys tickets hoping to see mayweather's ass beat. when you bill mayweather as the "comebacking hero" no one gives a **** cause people only know him as an ******* they want to see lose. JMM has a HUGE fanbase about the hardcores and is emerged as the heir to barrera and morales (and some would argue their superior)...no, jmm will not sell out a stadium but he WILL bring in the hardcores, the mexican fanbase who adore him, and the whole cadre of people who want to see him kick floyd's ass. with a decent good guy like jmm (on mexican independence day), the fight can sell. without that, it relies on floyd's non existent popularity
