    Miguel Cotto
    1. Will fight Gomez on April 12 (my pick, Cotto)
    2. Will fight the winner of Cintron / Margarito (I think it will be Margo) maybe on July (my pick, Cotto)

    Paul Williams
    1. Will fight Carlos Quintana on February 9 (On the undercard Berto will be fighting against Michel Trabant, Berto wins this one, imo)
    2. Paul Williams vs Andre Berto in the summer (this will certainly be a great fight)

If Cotto wins against Gomez and then against the winner of Cintron/Margarito he will be set for another big fight at the end of the year against Paul Williams. Now, if Paul Williams wins against Quintana and then against Berto (great fight BTW, but I'll pick PW) there is a chance he will be the opponent of Miguel Cotto at the end of this year.

The winner of Cotto/Williams will have a big chance to fight against Floyd
(if he wins against Oscar de la Hoya:-( on Sept) at the beginning of 2009.
    If Floyd doesn't retire.

Not sure if Williams will fight Berto.

And I think Arum won't allow Williams-Cotto, especially after Cotto fights Margarito or Cintron in July.

I don't see Berto and Williams fighting at this stage of their careers. They have too little to gain and too much to lose by fighting each other right now.

I really can't wait for the upcoming Williams and Berto fights this weekend. They are two of the brightest up and coming stars in boxing.

Williams and Berto - where did you get that one from?

Maybe Williams and Clottey or Collazo - **** maybe even Judah - but Berto, I doubt it.

Berto's a little too young to fight Williams at this point. It would be a great fight, but his promoters would be crazy to put him in with Williams this soon. I'd skip a couple of stages. After Cotto massacres Gomez and Williams destroys Quintana, Cotto and Williams should fight in the late Spring. Period. Winner fights PBF in Sept. One must dream.

I know how you all feel, I had the same reaction about Berto and WIlliams. I read this on our local newspaper TODAY. I will look for the link

Williams should have already secured the date with Cotto after he dethroned Margarito.

There was a reason that didn't happen: Arum didn't want it to, nor will he for quite some time.

Because Arum does'nt want to lose his cash cow after Williams shuts out Cotto.

Since when did Williams become Sugar Ray Robinson?
I'm not even sure the Sugar Man could shut out Cotto.
    Who could?

Cotto/Williams would be the ultimate style match up. It would be interesting to see who wins this one. Will Cotto chop down that tall tree or will Williams simply keep Cotto at bay?

Yep! Arum knows how dangerous Williams is... I think Cotto will fight Margarito, the IBF title will be vacant, Clottey will fight Berto for it and the only unification possible for Williams will be the winner of the two.
