LOL these stupid threads.. look cotto is too high in weight as it is he cant go up anymore.. he shouldve been fighting at 140 but he's lazy and eats too much that's why he cant make weight.. he's like 5'6"

    eh?

Cotto is a 5''7 small LM Pavlik is a 6''2 huge MW

I love Cotto and dont like Pavlik but there is no way he would ever win this fight even if it was somehow ever made

Williams is over 6 foot and has a longer reach than Wlad. Does that mean he should be fighting @ heavy?

Pavlik hasnt looked good against the top opposition. Pavlik doesnt have the output or stamina Margo has. I see it being a good fight.

Stamina has always been a real strength of Pavlik. He basically beat Taylor twice becaue he could sustain the pressure and tire Taylor faster than Hopkins could. Cotto is there to be hit, good skills but not good enough against a 6'2 fighter with a stiff jab, power and a good chin.

Cotto comes in around 160 anyway. It seems like height and reach would be too much of a disparity, i guess

Yeah. Should be a replay of the Cotto-Margo bout.

Only Pav would end up pretty bloody also, but he would still probably stop the much smaller Cotto.

But didn't Pavlik come in at nearly 180 in his last? That's a bigass difference in weight too.

My two favorite fighters. On a pound for pound basis Cotto is obviously the more skilled fighter. Miguel and KP are roughly the same age and have about the same number of fights, but Cotto has accomplished far more than Pavlik. However, at 160 Cotto takes a horrendous beating.

Yeah. Pavlik could just as easily be a cruiserweight. Cotto a welter.

I'm gonna be in the minority here but I think Cotto could put up a good fight and use his superior boxing skills to get a UD.
