How many of you guys think this would be a good idea. Instead of having the 24/7 series on HBO, why not have it on regular network TV. A lot of people may not have HBO. Why not try to buy out a slot on ESPN, CBS, or FOX etc...

If the goal is to get the interest of the general public sports fans, then putting it on ESPN could be a huge boost for possible buys. Imagine showing the public the best PBF and Cotto highlights for a few days, the public would see PBF slick skills and Cotto's power. Then, they could use Cotto's dominance of FLOYd's past opponents as another angle which would have general sports fans curious.

It could work. This would definitely bring boxing back into mainstream so the sports analyst can stop with the "boxing is dead" crap.

You dont have to wait for the fight to be signed to think about what this can possibly do for boxing.

Why would HBO allow this to happen when the fight would be on their network?
