How you guys feel about this?? On Hbo and in Florida

I think it could be a great fight. Delvin is preety good and always fights hard. Cotto with Freddie Roach is something to be seen. I for one dont think Cotto is shot at all. hes not in his prime but not shot. Hes only lost to Pac,Mayweather and Trout who are all great fighters. Trout was a tough Matchup and he still took the fight like a G.

    War Cotto!! :bbb:bbb

Cotto is past his prime, he was great but not so much anymore. Did you see his last fight?
It looks like it is just a maybe right now, he still may go back to showtime.

Delvin is too hittable to beat even a faded Cotto, imho.

Cotto will take this but I think Delvin will touch him up for sure. I honestly would have expected Cotto to take on a shorter opponent (height). Delvin is taller than Trout. Height and Delvin's ability to survive a war work against Cotto in this one. I just see overall skill still allowing Cotto to pick up the W.

It's natural and expected of him to take a softer opponent after back to back defeats. Comparable to the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Rios fight, in terms of a star taking on a soft touch after a tough defeat or two.

Rodriquez is an ESPN level fighter. He's not in Cotto's league. I wish the Carlos Molina fight happened.

Rodriguez is an ok opponent for Cotto under the circumstances. He's probably staying busy and then looks to a big fight early next year. Being he's back on HBO and working with Top Rank he's probably looking at a fight with Chavez or Martinez.

It's an ok fight and Cotto has more than earned an easier fight but I'm not crazy about this being an HBO main event because it shouldn't be.

one thing is for sure, this is going to be an all action fight that's going to make miguel look good.

this i think is a prelude to a sergio-cotto fight for next year.

Cotto is coming off a loss and is looking for a tuneup. What do you want him to do? yeesh. This guy has fought EVERYONE and yet people still criticize.
